Diagnosing POTS: Symptoms and Differentiation from Migraines

I'm curious if I have POTS or not. How do you get diagnosed? Also, if you are someone that has been diagnosed, what are your symptoms? I'm trying to possibly differentiate between this and my migraines. I may possibly have both. I notice I am dizzy often getting up or bending down. I do have blurred vision and nausea often, but this is hard to differentiate from my migraines as well.

a cardiologist will refer you for a tilt table test, and the results from that will tell you whether or not you have POTS or some other form of dysautonomia. the test is exactly what it sounds like, you're strapped to a table that tilts you up down and sideways and tracks your heart rate, respiration rate, and blood pressure

Some cardiologists don’t do tilt table anymore because of how torturous it seems/is. But definitely a cardiologist and/or neurologist. You could have dysautonomia in some form.

I keep asking my cardiologist for a tilt table test and every time he goes "🤨 are you sure 🤨 they're not comfortable 🤨🤨🤨" like. yea man neither is living with untreated POTS. I don't go into a medical test or procedure expecting comfort lol
