Feel so burnt out from being a type 1 diabetic. I also have OCD which has latched heavily onto everything regarding my diabetes. I’m so tired 😭

I’ve been there with my ocd and my own chronic health issues. It’s so not fun 😢everything creates this messy, vicious cycle and I’m constantly so burnt out. For me the things that have been helping is just giving myself the time I need to solve one thing at a time, health-wise, as much as I can (there was a lot that was hard to diagnose/treat/etc for a long time) and making sure as much as I can that I’m surrounded by or am spending my time with people who are understanding, supportive, etc

Hi, totally get how you feel, you're not alone. I work a typical 9-5 office job get home at 6 have something to eat and even if I manage to get in the bathroom decent time like half 7 or 8 sometimes I'm still really late going to bed. My average lately is between 1am and 2am. The latest which happened to be last night actually was about 3.45ish. I get up at 6.45 so approx 3 hrs sleep...the exhaustion is unreal. It makes it diffulcut to find the energy to do what you enjoy but I think it's important to do that if you can, it might help to disrract your mind even if only for a little while. I know it's always easier said than done though. And as depressing as it sounds sometimes it's good to just have a good old cry and let it all out, cleanse the soul 🙌 ...anyway sorry for rambling on and on but let me know if you need to vent anything. Take care :)

Oh girl. I'm so sorry. OCD is exhausting enough without that added complication. 😥 I know how you feel about the OCD part. Virtual hug.
