So apparently my parents buying me this house back in august was under the assumption that I would be approved for my disability this last go round. Now that I’ve been denied again (due to not being able to get to dr as often as needed and not going to pain management like I wanted (mom controlled everything when I had no car or couldn’t drive after surgery)) so yea I blame her for this denial. But now I’m being told I have to leave my house and move. With no money and no place to go. Apparently they (mom and step dad) rather see me, 2 cats, a Guinea pig, and an autistic 19 yr old homeless than to help us anymore. My symptoms have drastically changed for the worst over the past few months. Like she says she knows I’m trying but yet refuses to assist. Pretends like I’m not disabled. And then if she sees me on one of my bad days she wants to act all concerning. I’m at a loss at this point

@Leanne1982 I’m glad you finally have a good lawyer. I would definitely have them document your inability to drive and your mom refused to take you to appointments. That’s just awful.

Hate to say it but that’s dirty of your Mother. If you get mail there it’s your residence. They have to evict you. I would tell them they left you no option. I’m over here doing everything I can to get back to work so I can get my son a house - he has a chronic illness. I’m sorry that happened!!

Definitely get a lawyer or organization that handles these types of things. Documentation, documentation, documentation. Make sure they are being detailed. Add in mobility aids prescribed or suggested. I’m so sorry your family is putting you through this. Is there a social worker that can help find housing for you?

@justkittenya On 3rd lawyer. Fired first because I was basically doing her job for her and although she said she didn’t get paid til I did she wanted me to pay for getting my records which she knew I couldn’t afford. Second let me go after denial in august. Because although they disagreed with the decision they couldn’t find anything legally wrong with it… the one I’m with now has been amazing. I was getting lots and lots of documentation until my surgery in dec that left me unable to drive for a few months. That’s when my mom was in charge of my medical and not only did she chose a dr that could care less, she refused the dr that I wanted to see. And she also refused to take me to my pain management. I was forced to cancel many appointments. I feel if I had been able to be in control of my own care I would have won my case this time. But now that I’m on Medicaid I still can’t see the dr I want to see because of slots. She says I need to to back to where she moved me from knowing I have no home to go to. No matter where I end up (temporarily I may end up living in my car) all I gotta do is figure out how to come up with some money and I can move out of state and start fresh. So I’m hoping I can talk them into giving me one more month before they force me out of my home. Because my 19 yr old has job interviews and just put in 23 more applications. Cause if we can take over mortgage and water then we can stay here til we can move permanently

Yes if you have United Healthcare insurance coverage. You get monthly Uber rides to doctor's appointments for $1 you get 10 rides a month. They also deliver medications and food. And yes what Meeyah said they would have to have a court order to evict you especially since you are Ada and really need government assistance.

Honestly I think u should always have a back up plan on a driver like a close friend or Uber etc. She can't make u leave without a contract or something in writing. She would need to go to court. Especially when u depend on something so important. Some. Insurances also have a ride program. Can I ask your city of residence?
