i’m finally off work tonight. it’s been 13 days since my last day off. they asked me to go in a couple hours ago. I honestly should’ve gone, because now i’m laying in bed, and all the thoughts i’ve been pushing off for 2 weeks are overwhelming. I don’t really have anyone I can talk to. how do you guys deal with the crash after being distracted for so long?

🥺 my fiancé works a ton and barely has off. So when he is off he’s doesn’t know what to do with himself until he decides he can just play basketball or hop on the game w me. I usually try to help him by being spontaneous. I recommend doing something you in your comfort zone (whether its games, watching a movie/(re)watch a show, tidy up and reorganize a room in your home. Even picking up old hobbies. Cleaning for me has helped destress and clean the negativity lingering.
