Dealing with Triggers: My Struggle with Vomiting Scenes

Try using IMDB. It’ll actually list if someone throws up in the movies if you look under their sections in more detail. I can’t guarantee it will always list it but I’ve seen it under multiple movies before. The spot where it says “see all” under parent guide is where that info is located. I use that to avoid my triggers!

I empathize. I have a really hard time seeing people go through medical procedures and/or painful things on TV; I feel the pain and it can be debilitating. I feel you. 💖

I try really hard to be nice if someone is sick. But it can make me have anxiety type feelings for a few days. So I don't want to watch it for entertainment.

This may sound weird but if any of you have seen the grudge the sound she makes in her throat triggers me because my mom would make that sound anytime I did something she didn't like...
