Does anyone else struggle deeply with watching movies due to the fact there's always a sad or emotional part? I won't even watch many kids movies because there's always a sad or depressing part and it triggers me for the rest of the day 😭

I totally know what you mean. I'm tending to watch my comfort shows (scooby doo, Parks and rec, workaholics). They allow me to just relax and enjoy.

Yes, certain things I struggle to watch, I struggle to watch through till the end. The resolution, as I will feel the conflicts are too violent or insensitive. I'm aware it's not real, but yes. I do this too. I'm better than I used too.
Hi hun, you're not alone there. I also get panic attacks sometimes watching suspenseful or scary movies with my partner. It's usually around my period that I can be a lot more sensitive but I just follow my instincts. I cry listening and watching moana and even Beverly Hill chihuahua once 😂 but I try to remind myself it's A movie and I'm a big empath and although it sometimes ruins my movie I won't allow it to ruin my day.
