helooo. how do you all deal with the voice in your head that always make you feel bad for eating and is always there telling you "why did you eat that?" "do you know how many calories was in that?" a bit of my back story: I struggled with a life threatening case of anorexia when i was a bit younger. Today I'm at a much better weight, and health, but I still struggle with some of the same problems and haven't figured how to deal with them on my own. every time i eat i immediately regret it and hate myself for it. whenever I even think about eating i start to feel like I'm gaining weight ( I know weird) in the past this would make starve myself and not even drink water, thankfully this doesn't happen anymore but that voice is still there. if anyone could share any tips & methods they use to not think this way would be greatly appreciated. <3

i feel u. i also recovered but still feel that voice in there. my best tip: screw your ed. i do things without letting myself think too much about them, like eating a piece of cake. also, challenge that voice. it’s lying.

Food is food. There’s no need to time morality to it. Your body has no idea if you just ate a big Mac or if you ate a bowl of quinoa with kale and chicken. It is going to break down all the same. Fats, carbs, proteins, vitamins, etc. etc. and get rid of anything it doesn’t need.

I try and talk to the voice, remind it that eating is important and good for me
