I would try to find a therapist you can confide in or a local organization to speak to about it. There are organizations that specialize in women and men who have been in these situations. Don’t keep it to yourself it will cause a lot of anxiety to build up over the years.

I had the same happen to me, and I didn’t tell anyone for 2 years. I’m still dealing with it and I wish I would have had the courage to tell someone earlier on so I could have gotten the proper help. It’s tough honestly some have been supportive and some aren’t. I’ve been in counseling on and off. For me though I write it out (the way I feel or whatever I want to say but can’t.) writing is a good way to let it out or at least try.

Honestly, I've not really dealt with mine, it lingers if you don't deal with it. For years and years.. try trauma therapy. You don't have to talk about what happened, but you can deal with how you feel and how your life is because of it
