How do I stop getting so jealous when my boyfriend talks to other girls? Even when I see a females name on my boyfriends phone I get so upset and lash out. I know it isn't healthy but it is so hard to stop. After blowing up I regret it but I still cant help but overthink and stress out about it. Can anyone give me advice?

I feel like admitting that this is a problem is a good place to start. Also letting him know that you’re aware and you are working on it. Sometimes taking a step away for just a minute really helps to not react so harshly.

Blowing up definitely isn't a healthy way to go about it, but I do understand. A good way to calm yourself down enough to not blow up on your boyfriend is to have a conversation with yourself about why you get so angry every time you see him talking to other girls. It helps if you write the conversation on paper so you can process it more clearly. Even if it doesn't work right off the bat, at least you have some better understanding of why you feel the way you feel.

What I tell myself is this. The presence of another person with your gender or sex is not a threat unless you ask about them and get no response. The universe is so vast, that woman could be anyone. That goes for them all. As for you, why do you think so lowly of yourself? You are alive yet!!! Life is priceless. You can’t assign value to what is real and important.
