Have yet to have a break from endo belly since my symptoms began 5 months ago. It’s so painful and really messing with my head. Don’t feel in my body and don’t recognize my body. Anyone had something work to reduce bloating while I wait for surgery?

@BurgerOfTheDay it helps me when I have what I've been told is Endo pain, surging down my legs and up into my torso. Especially if I need to be doing things that I would otherwise not be able to, it stimulates the muscles and nerves to "confuse" the signals and reduce the perception of pain. I often find it slowly comes back after I stop using it but it helps to be able to get about when I need to.

I never thought of trying a TENS machine. It helps with Endo pain?

Doing small abdominal muscle strengthening exercises and pelvic floor exercises, Helped me feel more in control of my body and more like it was mine again, it also helps with recovery post surgery, if you are struggling to do the exercises because of pain a TENS machine on your abdominals can, not only help the pain but also is an abdominal muscle work out which you can lay down for.

You're not alone, try to remember that. The bloating and edema have been tough for me too. I hope you feel better soon!

I've found apple cide vinegar in some water or a shot if you can stand it helped with bloating. Along with reducing/avoiding gluten products. Depending on if you are retaining fluid which is lending to bloating, a fluid tablet/supplement can also help with that. Hopefully surgery isn't far away for you ❤️

Some people have found relief from endo belly by avoiding inflammatory foods such as dairy, red meat, soy, gluten, and fiber. Additionally, using heating pads and wearing stretchy clothes can provide some comfort. It's important to consult with your doctor for personalized advice and recommendations while you wait for surgery.
