I know that this is a weird one but I tend to get emotionally attached to people who open up to me and will fantasize about having a whole relationship and 20 different ways my heart gets broken in the time it takes to pick a drink at a 7-eleven. it's painful and I wish it would stop anyway to avoid it? pls

      I am sorry, that sounds hard. This might not help, but whenever I had thoughts I wanted to stop, my therapist said to pretend you have a TV remote and you're changing the channel and either in your head or out loud, make the static SSTCCHH sound (you know what I'm talking about right? Younger people never experienced that) and change it to a different channel of thinking about anything else, like a cute puppy or where you think the 7-Eleven drink came from or what you want to wear tomorrow or what the weather is like today... Just anything
