Need advice on how to ask someone out

I need some advice on how to meet people around my age (early 20s tk mid 20s) and how to ask them out on a date I know this one girl that have a lot in common with but I barely get her attention I go to where she works all the time just to buy gemstones as I collect them and so does she and we have a lot of the similar taste in art and style of art I really would like to ask her out but I don't want to overstep my boundaries I rather have a friendship then leave a bad impression upon her. I never really had any real relationships or anything like that so I wanted to ask if anybody could give me some advice and a good way to put myself out there to meet people. I really want someone I can talk to and share my time with. :(

      just approach them and ask for their socials and if they wanna hang out. i’ve been learning to skate and i do that after some conversation or before i leave.

      That sounds like an idea I have brought up going to like a gem show before she did tell me if there was a specific type of gem show let her know cuz she might be interested in that and I didn't mention that I didn't want to go alone and I didn't get to no so maybe I'll try that I know there's a few coming up I can ask about

      in the movie office space (1999) the main character asks a waitress when her lunch break is and says he'll be at the cafe next door if she would like to get lunch! And he also makes sure to say that if she's not interested that's ok too, and he wont mention it again. Also though it was in a movie so maybe wouldn't be a great idea in real life lol

      I know it but idk it's just there professional page and I can't follow there personal one ☹️ I don't have a Facebook or anything I only have IG and try to keep my online life very small idk pretty shy when it comes to stuff like this because am not really a shy person once you get to know me I just am very bad to start thing like friendships and relationships off because of my lack of experience I had to be taken out of school when I was very young second grade or so because my mom didn't want me to get taken away by CPS

        @JosephOpalLover if there's a fair or some kind of event, dring it up. If she says she's interested in said event,, ask if she would be down to accompany you because maybe for instance you "don't wanna go alone" thus leaving room for it to not be interpreted as a "date" (bc you don't know if she's interested in that)
