Has anyone had a Cystic Fibrosis test done?

Has anyone ever had a Cystic Fibrosis test done because of semi-similar or specific symptoms and it turned out to be something else? I am wondering, mostly because of like aquagenic wrinkling of the hands and what specific symptoms did you have that caused you to get that test? I’m not sure what to expect for my dermatology appointment and what they will suggest for the aquagenic wrinkling. It is a diagnostic criteria for EDS and I want to know if theyd test me for anything else. Definitely will talk to the dermatologist still, it has been like a month since the appointment was made and I wasn’t able to get in until now!! Thank you!
