What are your coping mechanisms for grieving over a loved one?

I recently lost one of my grandmothers, and my way of getting through it was and is by keeping mementos, talking about her, and even keeping her picture as my wallpaper.

I've lost many loved ones in my life, and I've recently lost my grandfather from COVID and uncle from alcohol poisoning on different days in the month of March 2021. It was very hard for me to handle, especially at home.

I totally understand that. I will sometimes feel like I am constantly reminding them that my dad is dead and that it brings down the mood. But I can be that person for you if you want to talk about your lost loved one

When I lost my dad in 2020, it was a difficult time in my life. But what really helped me was writing down the happy moments I had with him. I try to keep his spirit alive by sharing stories about him with friends and family. Also just any type of writing or drawing can help sort out the different feelings you have.

@SummerGirl I want to talk about him, but I feel weird bringing him up to people. Like it will make people feel uncomfortable because they don't know what to say, or they think im just going to be sad about it. I want to talk about him... but nobody else ever brings him up but me šŸ˜„ and I don't want to only talk to my parents or my bf about him. My bf never met him and doesn't understand, makes him a bit uncomfortable.
