Honestly don't fight the emotional outburst it could be an ADHD emotional tantrum find what's causing it like sensory overload and be kind to yourself it's a long process but it truly does help your mind to be more calm and jump back into doing what you need it too. However if it's anxiety give yourself some time to breath and take a few good deep breaths it feels super silly but it truly helps so much I also love counting 4 is always my go to number. I also have way more if those don't help I've had anxiety pretty much my whole life from undiagnosed ADHD and lived in a home where I had to hide them so I learned a lot of ways to help calm myself and others down
