I definitely plan in advance where I’m going and what places are nearby. I also try not to eat before going out unless it’s to a mall or somewhere I will be for a while.

Coping can be hard because at times at least for me it can be embarrassing but being more open about your situation to others can help, I thought people would make fun of me but many of my friends deal with the same issues I do. As for going out, planning and knowing what your triggers can be are good starts.
