I've been reading up on petechiae and how they might be related to leukemia. I'm a bit confused, though. Do these spots come and go, or do they stay once they appear? I've noticed some spots on my arm, but they seem to fade and then reappear. Could this be a sign of leukemia, or is it something less serious?

One of the replies mentioned that they have seen some spots fade with treatment, indicating improvement. However, it's also noted that red spots on the skin can be due to many things, like allergies or infections. It's recommended to get them checked but not to panic prematurely as there could be other reasons for their appearance.
