@doodlebug8788 you’re not going crazy. Something i have learned recently is that even the most introverted people need people. Humans are designed with consciousness and awareness and therefore we are in need to connect with others. You are already on the right track with even downloading this app because it shows you are willing to try to not feel alone. Good for you and keep going , do not feel shame in wanting connections and keep being brave in finding them ❤️

As a lifelong introvert i'm sure my lonely days are far less than most, but when they do strike,i will listen to music/watch a good movie/tv show (doesn't have to be a comedy either), and eat a favorite food/snack to boost the mood....... also, downloading a friendship app or any app (like this one) where you can carry on about a specific topic, with hopefully some relief is another good start. 🙂

Trust me invest in little things. Even things like finding favorite youtubers or comedians helps

I made a playlist of songs that speak to me and make me feel heard or understood. Its SO underrated. I also try my best to find outlets of people to vent to. I’m a private person so its hard. I can’t talk to friends, so i try finding apps like this. Also small things like spending time with a pet or even friends and LISTENING to their issues make you feel less crazy / alone. You realize others lives aren’t so perfect either and we all struggle. And this can happen over dinner without you having to share a thing and it still helps you feel less alone. TV shows also help me, some characters feel so familiar you grow to love them as friends over time. And you can even connect with their fanbases online. Same with musicians. I’d also recommend looking for clubs or routine hobbies in your area. Something with people who routinely return, that way you form a group of people that get you. Hope this helps ❤️

Stick around people that make you laugh, smile and care. Make phone calls and when you go somewhere smile.

I like getting on here. It's not a complete solution, but it's nice to know there are others out there "like us."
