This might sound weird but I feel like I can express this here. I am the only one in my immediate family who’s chronically ill so I watch YouTube videos of other people who are chronically ill. I feel quite alone with my health conditions and I feel like nobody in my family truly understands. Watching other people’s stories, life vlogs, daily routines etc while chronically ill helps me feel like im closer to others who understand and actually get how I feel. 💜

@Olawola the husband is the best ever! I looked up Jennifer brea she is in remission after 11 years i am so happy for her. It kinda gives me hope that one day I will go in remission also.

I completely get what you are going through. Until this year I was in this same place with being the only one living this life and nobody around me understood. Even if they said they did they would prove otherwise. Recently my mother was diagnosed and in some ways she gets it but still seems like she thinks what she is dealing with is worse..that is very much not true, I just have more experience with handling it!

I feel the same. No one gets it until they get it.
I feel exactly the same. Did you ever watch unrest? It’s such a great movie
@Fibrofoggirl omg I did! It was so beautiful how her husband cared for her! and just the stories
With you! I been there and through Dr and medicine. The Dr that told me I had fibro had lost close family member to suicide because of chronic pain and fibro. I am also here to talk to like minded individuals. Please DM if you ever just need a friend to talk to
Totally get what you mean! You can dm me if you ever want to talk! 🫶🏽
Yep I feel alone as well. Chronic illness is extremely isolating and confusing. What did I/we do to deserve it? DM me anytime. ❤️
I completely understand! Can you drop some names of the videos you watch?
I totally understand. My family says I'm a hypochondriac. That the meds are making me worse.
I feel alone sometimes but communicating with my loved ones about what I need to do and what I’m feeling like they often are able to support me through and I can feel more productive and less alone
I understand this and you💕
