I downloaded this app hoping to find people who deal with similar chronic illnesses that I deal with. Literally nobody I know understands what it’s like dealing with all my chronic illnesses everyday. While reading people’s posts, clearly there’s a lot of people who deal with similar stuff that I deal with, but it’s actually just made me really sad reading about their struggles, as opposed to feeling understood or hopeful. I’ve actually cried a few times reading posts and comments, even though I just downloaded the app today. Anyone relate?

I have a chronic illness and pain 24/7 for 14 years. I make the most of each day and I'm trying not to let my illnesses take my peace away. Sometimes I pray or cry, I usually get mad and over do my physical limit. But I try. There is always hope. I'm studying phycology so I'm not given the wrong meds, or have to deal with side effects of medications. I look for other therapies that work naturally. Diet n beginner workouts. Chronic fatigue from my illnesses is overwhelming. But I push through each day the best I can. 💕 It's not easy, but I do it. Cause if I don't depression kicks in. 🙏🙌❤️

It’s like a death your dealing with. You have to grieve the loss of the life you wanted to live. I live with chronic pain and brain fog daily. I also lost my 27 year old son almost 3 years ago.

Absolutely. If its any encouragement I admire you for being such a caring and compassionate person. Its not always a pretty thing to be part of chronic illness community for many reasons. But youre not alone. If the app becomes overwhelming like that I have to set it down for a while. I hope u feel better.

Can you explain more about the illnesses you are dealing with?
