Feeling Alone in a Crowd

I get so lonely being around people every day who I know don't get it. When they all questions it's just a reminder of how much they don't get it.. and how alone I am when I'm surrounded by them. 💔

Its gets pretty lonely when others don't realise or understand what you're going through. They can't see or feel it. 😓 Especially at the point where you just start saying you're ok when asked, because it's exhausting telling the truth, then having to explain the symptoms, then not having them believe you or think it's overdramatic. 😔 I'm sure you're doing the best that your body and situation can manage, I find my safety network in friends who also suffer with chronic illness. 😭

yes exactly...when it's not one thing, it's another and that can be debilitating. This app is more tailored and suited for that I think. Don't be alone and reach out 🤗

I really really feel this. I felt so alone over Christmas that I didn't want to be here anymore.... I'm getting help and trying to make changes in my life but that's the reason I joined here. There are lots of groups on Facebook but with all my conditions I didn't feel I fitted in anywhere anymore as not one person could understand how everything affects me physically and consequently mentally. Sending you big hugs and here if you ever want to talk 🙏

I understand that SOOOO much. I have so many different things that I feel like the combinations of different kinds of hell I went through are unique to me. Which can make me feel more alone at times. 🥺

No question!! They might ask but then tune out pretty quick as soon as I start to answer unless I say “I’m great “ then they want to talk.
