As horrible as things can get I hate the roller coaster feeling of the meds so my family had gotten used to my chaotic behavior. If someone can handle me at my worst they don't deserve my best (Marilyn Monroes words not mine) so it weeds out the weak of heart. One med might work for a while but they tend to trigger a new problem. I can't handle anymore
@HrdKnckGddss I definitely felt that and ur body will build a tolerance after a while so it's only a temporary fix anyway I'm proud of you :)
@HrdKnckGddss If someone cannot handle my worst...
I've found cannabis helps a lot. CBD is good too if you don't have the ability to smoke or consume THC
@Woodstock419 sometimes that gives me psychosis when I get too high so I use it sparingly but it does amazing for PTSD for me
Have you tried Zyprexa? It's working great for me and it's cleared up a lot of my negative thoughts!
Lamictal helped me a ton!!!! I'm also on abilify
I’ve been through it for a couple of mood stabilizers but Lamictal 200mg has worked wonders for me. It’s gonna be different per person but I recommend looking into the mood stabilizers that also double as anticonvulsants because my experiences with those have been good.
Personally, I've been on tons of things but the only things that showed any result were Lamictal and Giadon. They made me super sleepy all the time though, so I didn't stay on them. I'm not on anything for mood right now, but everybody's different and I think the best thing you can do is talk to a nutritionist to get a deeper look at what would work with you and your body chemistry.
