Is it possible for a breakup to worsen your depression? I sound dramatic but this was almost 7 years of my life i can’t get back.. I was just the side chick the whole time.. i don’t think i’ve ever been so sad and hurt in my life.

      It can absolutely effect your depression. Like mentioned above, even physically in severe cases. You don't sound dramatic, especially if it was 7 years

      It is 100% possible that the end of a long relationship can worsen depression. if it's something more severe can cause a person to actually die of heartbreak
