My Dr. keeps trying new blood pressure meds on me to help my migraines. Instead my anxiety and depression are exploding in severity, and my already low energy (from fibro) is bottoming out. Has anyone else had this experience?

Yes…. and I already had low blood pressure to begin with. Awful experience, doc I saw was totally unsympathetic to my situation. I had extreme fatigue, zero concentration, did not decrease my migraines and nearly fainted, several times. After 3-4 weeks, stopped the meds on my own. I stopped seeing him. Since, I had several doctors thru the years, attempt to convince me to try it again. I briefly attempted again w/ a great neuro (whom I am still a patient of), who added it to a specific regimen. This time around, had Fibro, and after 3 miserable days, I threw the towel-in, for the LAST time! I am now on a regimen that DOES help, but I still have chronic migraines, but they are less intense and less frequent. Botox actually helped decrease the intensity in a major way, but now I have slight swelling around my entire skull (I believe it is long-hauler Covid related/myalgic encephalomyelitis), and too scared to get injections for nearly two years. Do not give up, keep trying things. My doctor tried an in-office experiment, that unfortunately cannot be replicated at home (too dangerous), but bc it worked, he put me on a compound nasal spray that is the most similar to his office treatment.
I ended up leaving that doctor and ended up with a psychiatrist that manages all my meds now
Oh boy yeah I had a doctor (a normal like go to the clinic or hospital sort) that did that with me and oh boy was it hard! Not only did it not help my migraines but one gave me heart palpitations! I dropped out of the blue in the drive way because my heart stopped for a few beats then resumed, it hurt so bad. Then she put me on a different blood thinner/pressure medication and I had the worst time with hallucinations with it. It brought my cptsd to life and I was too terrified to sleep as I could see things that weren't there, figures touching my leg every time I started to doze, etc. It was so bad I had to stop taking them, and of course the doctor was mad about it.
