I recently started the gluten challenge because my doctor noticed I’m losing weight and I recently have low vitamin deficiencies. I’m on Day 4 of specifically ingesting vital wheat gluten that I mix into my yogurt. I went to shower and had four giant watery blisters (two on each side) around the top part of my back. They weren’t itchy but painful to the touch. I checked my chest and had two there as well. It looked like I had a third one, but it turned brown. I was expecting intestinal damage but now I’m seeing blisters that hurt during this gluten challenge. Does this mean that I don’t have celiac disease and actually have non-celiac gluten sensitivity?
