Has anyone who is know to have flare ups tried birth control to help? What was the result of anything?

Birth control helped my flare ups a ton! Spironolactone, birth control and compression shorts all have worked together to help me get to no new tracts opening and my old ones only flare every few weeks. Which is a huge change from constantly having open and new tracts. From my personal experience birth control has done wonders for my HS.
