Bipolar disorder with psychotic features

I do take meds. Without them I’m a horrifying mess. I can’t imagine being without them, although I have at times in the past and it’s not pretty.

Im on so many medications, I’ve seen almost 10 doctors in ten years and they all go for heavy medications. I’m tired of being nauseas and feeling out of control with side effects, often having to take so many pills actually triggers symptoms of depression or mania and brings on psychosis because it is so unpleasant. I try different ways to take the medication and nothing is helping. Has anyone had a doctor who wasn’t into prescribing typical medications?
@Owlstoe Possibly homeopathic alternatives?
