      @tigershark98 This example is irrelevant to my point, I appreciate the input though! I'm talking about when I am nonverbal. When I am giving a simple answer, or saying only a few words. That is not being rude, it is me suffering silently.

      Coming from another Autistic person, just because we have Autism doesn’t mean we can’t be rude, whether accidentally or purposely. For example, when I was in school, I saw people mocking my friend behind his back for years, but he didn’t realize. I wanted to support him, so I told him, “Everyone hates you.” My intent was to show sympathy & support, but what I said was extremely hurtful. Just because I have Autism & did not mean what I said to be insulting, that doesn’t make it hurt someone any less. He was hurt and had every right to be hurt by what I said. Sometimes, things like that happen, and it’s unfortunate for everyone.

        @tigershark98 It's more about misperception because so much of communication is non verbal and worse, seemly innate. The world is designed for the average population. So just being seen without being negatively compared to a neutrotypical standard is a big ask.
