Struggling with Social Perception as an Autistic Person

I'm tired of feeling like people see me as a rude or snobby person. I say things in a very simple or re-stated way. Any other autistic people struggle with coming off as mean?

Sometimes yes. People who know me understand I’m not being rude. I’ve learned not to care what other people think. (Reasons i smoke cannabis) also it’s worth noting, my bipolar has forced me to learn to filter what i say a bit, which helps.

Yes. Less now than when I was younger (diagnosed later), but when my mask falls, people just get mad sometimes and I am lost for a second until I realize. Then I have to explain that there was no emotion behind my words AND try to calm their emotions down🙄 So much fun. You are not alone.
