^^ you honestly just have to train yourself to be really selfish. Like ChaoticEris, I have mantras I say, sometimes out loud, like "I will NOT allow YOU to ruin MY day!" Or "your emotions are NOT my problem." The more you say these things, the more you train your brain to believe them.

I get my happiness from others happiness. I don't understand why though
Not the best advice but something ive started doing is when I notice I’ve taken on others emotions I just start saying “not my circus not my monkeys.” Like the tik tok sound lol. It’s not a permanent fix but it helps me be aware of when I’m doing it. It’s like my little mantra.
