Is it hard to find people like you who have ASD who could potentially be a friend or a love interest. And if someone out there has a friend/lover who has ASD then what is your experience? How long have you been friends/lovers with this person and what was your journey like?

I don't think so. I had a best friend of 6 years, who we did have a falling out but it wasnt because of ASD, and the relationship was a wonderful thing while it was still good. ASD is not but so relevant to who you are as a person, it's a learning disability really. For love interests, compatability is a huge thing, not just working out problems and fixing yourself. Some people go together really well, and others don't, irregardless of ASD Who you are is what matters, ASD does not define you, if that makes sense
