I have noticed that I ALWAYS wake up with my stomach hurting. It’s the first thing I notice when I wake up! It’s that sour feeling of needing to go blow up the bathroom, but I never end up needing to- plus I have IBS-C, so how? It’s very weird. It even happens when I wake up from a nap!! It doesn’t matter how long I’m asleep, I will always wake up with this stomach pain. Does anyone else with IBS-C experience this?

One user mentioned experiencing a similar symptom, waking up with stomach pain but not needing to go to the bathroom. They were initially misdiagnosed with IBS-C but later found out they had intestinal dysmotility and dysenergetic defecation, which have similar symptoms to IBS-C. They also had chronic duodenitis and an ulcer in their colon. It's important to consult a doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment.
