I have a malrotated intestine, so my pain is on my right side and back. If I take my Colestid I’m usually ok. But if I forget, I get cramping while I’m eating and have to go. I get really sweaty, cold face and tingly/jittery.
@Daretta mine has never been diagnosed as that. But I’m sure when it’s acting up it’s a very similar symptom. Uggg. Lucky you can take a medication that helps. I’m going to see about what it does!

@worriesomeworld yes. Lots of time it’s gas pain. The passage gets to inflamed for anything to go by. Just saw my dr. Again. Trying new meds again!
@worriesomeworld yes. When I’m bloated it all hurts. Just having a belt on or pressure from my pants button is killer
@Lucky_H sounds like me:) i’m sorry you struggle with it. it’s hard.
@worriesomeworld I would say go get that checked out because the only time I experience that is when I’m extremely constipated. I know other people in that position and it indicated something else that was wrong :(
@Kaislyn what was wrong with them?

Mine is tricky, but I’ve learned it’s worse in mornings so I don’t eat at all then. It’s more of a sharp pain moving from upper abdomen to lower. Usually not quite a “cramping” feeling but not comfortable.
@Bloomingalchemy60 I find. If I can stand it! Not eating is best. But I’m starving.

Am is the worst. Eating brings it on. 7 ish times in the bathroom incomplete. Bloating. Better if I don’t eat. If it’s C type and I didn’t follow my dietary needs. I could be in for hours of….. the pain can be greater or lessor. Lower left abdominals. I’m usually ok to eat something after 12. You certainly can not work when going thru the daily “adjustment”.
@Lucky_H mornings r also difficult for me :(
@binkyyy seems more and more … most of us have had an appendectomy. If only there was an inflammation suppressor besides using a steroid. I still think we all have an adhesions problem
My doctor put me on Dicyclomine and it has been great for me. I was having spasms in my stomach it is helping me. I also take calcium when vitamin D2 is slows the things down.
It varies. Right after I eat it's pain in my upper abdomen, almost burning but not quite, it's hard to describe. And then after a few bites of food there's a pressure and fullness sensation in my lower abdomen, and it swells up a lot
see i wouldn’t say my pain is a cramping feeling. It’s sometimes just painful and like twitching pin needley feeling.
My pain happens about 30 minutes after eating and it is an extreme cramping pain that causes dizziness and blacking out. It lasts for a few hours and I have horrible gas. Sometimes it hurts less when I pass gas. For me my pain is all the way across my lower abdomen and radiates to my back.
@cheymichelle I’m the same way! It’s a pain in the butt for sure!
