      Therapy is super effective, when you find the right therapist. I was in something called dbt which teaches you all kinds of coping skills (LOTS of acronyms like STOP or PLEASE, TIPP, etc) you can find the pdf version of the book online. It says for anxiety but it's mainly for people with bpd but anyone can use the skills.
