Sorry you feel that way. I'm not a mom but I can relate. I'm a step mom and have agoraphobia. It's so difficult and no one understands. I can't work I'm on disability and agoraphobia has stop me from living a normal life. I sometimes feel alone but I have boyfriend support and a close friend as well. I don't get out the house alone but I do with someone. Because I have to do my errands. I'm on a tons of medication so it helps aliviate some of the social anxiety. Hope that helps

I also feel like a terrible mom. Ive missed so many school functions, i have to have help getting my kid to the doctor anytime we try to do anything, I panic and ruin it. I cant drive. Ive been a single mom for most of my kiddo's life. Let me tell you, grocery delivery has been a God send. And zoom doctors and all the services that have become available via internet during covid. My boyfriend of 6 years was helping me A LOT. But unfortunately, he's struggling with a pretty nasty addiction and Im facing being on my own again. Luckily, my now teen daughter is becoming more independent, she's happy, has friends and is much more understanding of my condition. Agoraphobia has 100% affected my social life. I have literally zero friends. My family isn't very understanding of what I go through every day and they get mad because I dont go to visit them. I just try to accept where Im at and make the best of it. It's really all you can do. Do what you can with what you got. 💕
