Struggling with ADHD Medication

I was worried about treating my adhd with stimulants because of my anxiety, but adderall has actually REALLY helped my anxiety in a weird way. The first week or so can be a bit tough and sometimes the crash is rough but I found that taking magnesium when it starts to wear off pretty much gets rid of it!

you can request to be put on non-stimulants. I know it can be scary, but ultimately you make the final decision on what meds you take. a doctor can recommend a medication, and you can tell them you want something else. I'm on my 3rd stimulant now and I think I want to try a non- stimulant next because what I've been trying hasn't worked
