I was finally diagnosed with POTS after a long journey of doctors not listening to me. I've been struggling with the symptoms for a long time now, but my doctor didn't give me any advice on how to help them. any advice on how to manage POTS symptoms and flare ups?

Blue light blocking glasses, acupressure mat, and CINCOM Leg Massager for Foot Calf Air Compression Leg Wraps with Portable Handheld Controller are also awesome. I use them everyday

I used to call my POTS episodes seizures because nobody could figure out what was going on with me and I thought it was a seizure. I finally figured out what it was this year when I stumbled across a website that perfectly described my symptoms and I even found out it goes hand and hand with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, which is something I have.

@Em0ry_Sc4r that’s what was happening to me! I would go to the bar and my eyes would start twitching. I had no idea what was wrong with me. I would have to walk outside to calm down. I would feel so much panic over nothing and my heart rate would sky rocket and my hands would get super sweaty. I met a nice girl at yoga who told me she has POTS and a doctor to go to and I was so thankful. Because I have had it for years and never even knew. All the doctors would say I have psychiatric issues. So I started going to functional doctors and they have saved my life honestly. The 80oz of water, 10,000 mg of salt, and 4-5 times work out with weights help so much too. I feel like after all my years of research I can become a doctor. Because I have been to a million western and they pass me back and forth like I’m an item.

@sativa I dont remeber the website sorry, I stumbled across it randomly. I typed "grey out with shaking" into a searchbar and it was the 3rd-4th website that popped up.

I’d suggest getting a drink you like with electrolytes in it to help you stay hydrated. I drink propel, liquid iv, and dripdrop. I personally like to get compression leggings to help me when I’m standing up a lot too

@Wanderinglumos I've been looking for a drink I like. I've just been drinking sugar free Gatorade recently. I will definitely try out the compression leggings as well. Thank you!
