Hiii So my bf and i are trying to buy a house and things are not going as planned. We work at the same place and he left work early today because it was slow and i stayed and finished my shift. As i was about to leave, a customer came in and asked for him so my coworker called him and he said “ehhh you take care of him man, i’m at home” and that’s normally not like him, he’s a very hard worker. So, i got off and we ate dinner and then he fell asleep around 8. I woke him up around 9:30 to see if he was okay. He got INCREDIBLY angry with me and started saying things that didn’t make sense (“i’ll see my guy tomorrow, we can sign the papers then”, “this is not a car, this is my hat”) and i told him he wasn’t making any sense so, he got more upset and started yelling at me in spanish. I reminded him that i didn’t speak spanish that well and he got more angry and started calling me a child and saying i was trying to start an argument. I didn’t know where else to put this i’m sorry. I just feel really anxious and scared and i’m worried about him

This sounds like he could be having a physical problem. Did he hit his head? Why was he saying things that made no sense? I would encourage him to see a doctor about his confusion and aggression.

I would pick a time when you are both relaxed and ask him if he's stressed about buying a house. It is a huge step and it probably wouldn't be normal if he wasn't stressed (and you, too).

I wonder if he's stressed out about the house. It's not a simple or easy process as I'm sure you know. He might be holding it inside, my husband gets grumpy/short and will sleep talk. I would try talking to him about it and let him know you're just concerned for his well-being. Hope things go better 💕
