have any of you actually had a schedule work for you?? i've never managed to stick to a real schedule, and my parents say its the only way i can ever manage school and/or work. if you have managed to keep a schedule, what helps you to stay on track?

I'm a real people-pleaser, so external accountability works for me. I can't set schedules or restrictions for myself, and I like to say it's because I'm "too smart" for them, which basically means I'll just bypass what I'm supposed to do because I can.

I’ve struggled with the exact same thing for so long (it’s nice to see I’m not alone) and honestly the only thing that’s ever helped me is having someone else hold me accountable and check in on me. If I was left to my own devices, I would never get anything done.

redesigning my schedule/ letting myself make choices about it has kept it interesting i’m enough for me to help stay on top of it!

I'm with beast-- I cannot set schedules for myself. There has to be some kind of external structure or accountability.

i’m bad a schedules it really hard to stick to one. but one good thing to learn is time management, it helps so much with getting school/and work things done

I just have to work when I’m most efficient so for the last year I’ve been lucky to have classes and jobs that I can do in the late afternoons and evenings and I’m so much more motivated to get them done

I’ve used time blocking where I literally plan out every minute of my day on google calendar and I made it a hyperfixation to the point that I stick to it. Worth a shot maybe?
