What do you eat to manage symptoms? I am so sensitive to food especially many healthy options and worry about it’s long term effects but if I don’t I’m in so much pain.

    you should try the low fodmap diet if you havent its for ibs and it helps tell what foods trigger your ibs flare ups and such. it didnt work for me (cus im diagnosed with ibs but i dont think i have it/or just have ibs for my gi issues) but it might work for you!

    I learned that my ibs stemmed from being sugar intolerant. It’s a diet commitment but I suggest exploring the diet for 2-4 weeks to see if it helps at all. No refined sugar including alternatives like Splenda, no gluten, no dairy, and no white carbs. I flavor everything with honey and it taste great! I eat natural sugars like fruits and real maple syrup. Everyone is different so you can try integrating some of these things back into your diet.
