Any experiences with IV infusions? I’m scared on how to bring it up to my doctor, I have very severe POTS, most days I will pass out at least 10 times and the only thing that helps is going to urgent care for IV infusions. How should I bring this up to my doctor? Would you recommend a PICC line or a port?

I do LR infusions twice a week and it has been helpful for me! My doctors had mentioned it before so I finally told them I thought it was worth trying and I would like them to submit the orders. I’ve been doing this for months and so far my doctors don’t want to do a PICC or port just for fluids so I get IV’s placed weekly. Hope this helps!
