hi i’m madison, and i just got off a call with my friend. i was saying how i wanted to post something on instagram so i gave her a few options to pick from and she said some offensive things about my physical appearance and said that i shouldn’t post those pictures. the only picture she said i should post is a pic without my face in it. i’ve been a month and 27 days clean of SH, and i feel like i want to relapse.

      I’m sorry she hurt your feelings. She clearly has her own personal issues to be that way, so as hard as it is, please try to not take it personally. I mean who the hell is she anyway? It’s not like she’s Anna Wintour or something and even if she was, the hell with her opinion. You are a beautiful work of art, exactly as you are. Anyone who’s going to prey on your insecurities is not truly your friend but that’s okay because there’s a bunch of people out there who will see your true beauty and build you up the way you deserve. A female who tears down another female is irrelevant. X

      She is incredibly in the wrong for that I’m so so sorry, you did not deserve that at all. Post whatever picture you feel beautiful in, whichever picture you were proud of before she said such horrible things. Her opinion is invalid at this point, you deserve to feel good about yourself and you deserve to be treated with kindness. You’ve gotten so far with staying clean, you are doing amazing. It’s ok if you slip up, but look at how much you’ve accomplished. You do not deserve to have this person destroy such an accomplishment
