Cute Shoes for AFO Braces?

Hi! Footwear expert here. I actually work in the footwear industry and ha e been fitting afos for almost 20 years. Please feel free to message me and I can help with suggestions and brands!

I have to wear ankle braces on both feet and it sucks, but mine are the kind that lace up, so they are super thick. I loosen my shoes A LOT. I basically get new, longer laces for every shoe. I also find sizing a half size up helps. I do converse, flip flops, and a good pair of tennis shoes. If I wear high tops, I can normally go without my braces because it keeps my ankle stable.
