Wondering if anyone else experiences this? I’ve mostly moved on from the memories, but the bodily sensations & emotions still occur daily. I’ve had a lot of traumatic experiences throughout my life & they all sort of accumulated their own bodily tics & specific sensations, if that at all makes sense. Some went away over time, others I’m not sure if they ever will. It’s not exactly something you can change in therapy or through meditation, I’ve tried. If anyone has any suggestions or can relate please let me know?

As someone else said, EMDR is insanely good at this. Also therapeutic psychedelics can be a game changer, MDMA and psylocibin in a clinical setting are revolutionizing the treatment of PTSD. It can be hard to get access to these treatments since they’re still pretty new but they have an amazing success rate. I also recommend the book “The Body Keeps the Score” is goes in depth about how trauma affects our bodies and minds on a physical level, it might help you understand your situation more

EMDR!! Our nervous systems record everything even when our minds forget. It is all about reprocessing those body memories.
