Struggling with Complex PTSD Symptoms

EMDR has been really helpful. I take Prazosin for nightmares. Meditation and yoga really help me as well.

I go to a naturopath every two weeks. She said with EMDR that you will have to re-live the moment again. It works for some but not for others. We tried “emotion code” therapy for myself and it’s really helped :)

I have the complex form with psychotic features. It is incredibly difficult to live with and personally I found medication never really helped due to the way the disorder is. Something I have found that helped me is genuine connection with others. Finding good people and taking care of those relationships and showing myself helped reframe things that happened and my view of the world. Diagnosis is the first step and Im glad youre reaching out to people like you.

My diagnosis is Complex PTSD. The only thing that's help was Prazosin and EMDR therapy.
