A lipoma around my spinal cord was found in 2017. It has caused nerve pain along the years but now I am experiencing numbness from my lower back to my knee. Medicaid denied coverage for MRI. Does anyone have this diagnosis?

Need to have that MRI for a definitive diagnosis. Lipomas on the skin don’t usually hurt. Didn’t know they occurred in the spinal cord unless it’s a different type of fatty tumor.
