Don't be afraid to get a second opinion! I had to start my journey all over again recently because they wanted me to drive a hour and a half for my surgery! No thanks! Back surgery with the roads in PA for a hour and a half no thanks

yes doctors do not want to give pain killers anymore! Shots make me feel like crap but guess I'll try once more at a different doctor. The first one should have done another MRI cause it had been six years but he obviously didn't care. Turns out I now have a herniated disc that's pressing on my L4 that was NOT on my first MRI!! Definitely learned my lesson with some doctors! They don't care as long as they get paid! But there are some good ones too! Just haven't found any 😤😠

I went to a neurologist and they are the ones who did the most testing for me. I was put on gabapentin that didn't help then Lyrica which helped a little but then got off of it when the made them narcotics. Hope you find a wonderful Neuro Dr to help you!!!

Yes. I’m not trying to scare you, but I am telling you my experience. I had lower back pain and pins and needles in my feet. It got so painful, like a bunch of bees attacking my feet. I had other symptoms too. I ended up doing a ton of tests and saw a Neurologist. I was diagnosed with MS. Just knowing and starting treatment helped me mentally. I thought I was going crazy.

I've talked to a doctor years ago about MS. Didn't go well. Very discouraging. I just seen a new doctor that actually suggested the neurologist for me she's the first one in 10 years that has said that.

The pins and needles are so frustrating and get worse when I sit or when I'm driving. What do you do for nerve damage? Did you see a neurologist?
