Does anyone else ever worry what it will mean for your significant other when you have your rough illness days

In my experience it’s just all about finding the right person and communication. No one asks for diabetes or wants to have high or low bs. I think having open conversations about what you need and what those bad days look like will help prepare them and know how to help you when that time comes. Even in my friendships I like to keep my friends educated on what could happen and what to do because I know they care about me and would want to help and not be helpless in the situation. My best relationships (romantic or platonic) are with the people that I am open about what affects me everyday. No one should ever make you feel like a burden for having an chronic illness!!

I've never been a relationship, but it is something I worry about, if/when I eventually am in one. I think if someone's invested enough in helping and there's enough resources to go around(I have what I need to care for myself, and we're not having tons of stress from being in poverty), it should be fine. That's what I figure. Hm, maybe that's why I want a good job before getting in a relationship....

i do but then i realize that they’ve been with me through it all so far and that they won’t leave because if they wanted to they would’ve already, and if i did something to upset them then they’d talk to me or i try to let them know they can come to me with a problem
