Lamictal hasn’t had that side effect, but I find mood stabilizers like lamictal don’t act the same way as antipsychotics. For me a combination of both has been most helpful.

maybe a lower dose of the zyprexa can be helpful for me
my mood swings arent bad at all so im wondering if I need an antipsychotic at this point in my life, its so hard to decide with my mood swingss
Interesting I never had that happen with Xypraxa — but Seroquil did make me sleepy and want snacks (extra bad bc eating before bed causes nausea for me)

So far lamictal has treated me well. I’ve been on it for 4 years now, and the side effects were strange at first (nausea, headache, and weird dreams) but they mostly went away after the first 6 months. I did gain about 20 pounds but that also might just be the freshman 15 because I started it soon after I graduated high school. That’s just what has worked for me, but you could definitely try bringing it up to the dr!
