I'm 54 and have lived with varying degrees of back pain since about 1995. I've had 3 surgeries and since my condition is degenerative no one is a fan of anymore surgery. I don't want any additional meds and physical therapy can only help a little. of course, being overweight is a problem as well; it is not the only problem, as doctors would try to have me believe. I'm pretty much at my wits end. I'm just tired of hurting.

I too think that Marijuana could be a good fit. I would at least help you to relax enough to rest your back during bad pain.

I started having problems with my skeletal and muscular health when I was 18 causing me to be confined to a wheelchair for a few years and having to relearn how to walk. I'm 48 now and just grateful I'm able to walk/stand now. I've been through physical therapy, water therapy, radio frequency ablation, injections, surgery, and pain meds of every kind but the pain never improves. I've been told that it's common for redheads to not respond to pain meds correctly so I absolutely gave up... quitting all drugs and pain management treatments. You want to know what one thing has helped me? Delta 8. It's 100% legal and I'm finally able to sleep through the night and make it through the day without crying my eyes out from the pain. It's all about using it sparingly and only when it's absolutely necessary but it really does work! The only problem with it is the drowsiness when I over-do it and the occasional munchies. 😆 Also, a physical therapist taught me how to do yoga modified to match my ability level and that with water therapy is what has kept me moving. I hope you find what'll work best for you!!

@midsy It is a THC product. Do not use it if you are subject to drug tests.

I can definitely empathize. I have DDD and I currently need back surgery. I am in so much pain some days I just wish I didn't wake up. I'm so sorry that you suffer as I do. ❤️🙏😥
